The company specialises in thermic process engineering, producing vacuum process ovens, reflow solder systems, and RTP (Rapid Thermal Processing) systems for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing applications.
UniTemp’s cold wall oven technology ensures that only minimal thermal mass requires heating and cooling, improving energy efficiency and process control. Their reflow solder systems utilise IR radiation heating plates with integrated thermocouples for precise temperature profile management. The RTP systems employ pulsed IR heater operation to extend equipment lifespan whilst maintaining optimal processing conditions.
Established 25 years ago, UniTemp has continually expanded its capabilities, operating from a 1400 square metre facility equipped with 5-axis CNC machines, water cutting systems, and coating equipment for surface treatment. The company maintains complete control over development and manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent quality and enabling customisation to meet specific requirements.
UniTemp serves various substrate sizes, from standard wafer processing up to 8-inch wafers, with recent additions including systems for 600x600mm substrates. Their product range encompasses compact RSS series for different substrate dimensions and specialised high-temperature RTP ovens for a wide variety of applications in the semiconductor industry. Such as dopant activation, thermal oxidation or the metal reflow and chemical vapour deposition.
The company operates internationally with a wide range of distributors, and the headquarters and production facility are located in Germany. Providing thermal processing solutions that meet demanding industrial standards for precision, reliability and performance.
